Aadil x Atoms
Model 001 Cascade: Our newest collaboration – a limited-edition sneaker, created with LA-based artist Aadil Abedi, features his signature ‘’deconstructed calligraphy’’ onto our Atoms Model 001. The word “Atoms” is artfully inscribed on the right side of the shoe and on the left side 'hand printed' curved design adds balance and intrigue.We’ve reimagined our bestseller, blending art and storytelling into the mix.
About the artist
Aadil Abedi is an LA-based artist whose modern interpretations of traditional calligraphy connects with people around the world. Aadil’s work is rooted in tradition and influenced by contemporary design.
A natural storyteller, Aadil’s work doesn’t just express himself: it starts conversations. Inspired by his faith and cultural heritage, Aadil’s work defies boundaries and expectations to create something entirely new.
Our Past Collaboration
AAG 001: AerosynBlue ran from November 2021 through February 2022 at our gallery space in NYC. This inaugural exhibition featured a limited-edition sneaker designed in collaboration with Tokyo-based multidisciplinary artist Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic, bringing the Atoms community closer to his work and the creativity of other inspiring artists.
Atoms Art Gallery is a place for us to come together
In Urdu, aag means fire. You light a fire, people gather around it, and they tell stories. That’s the spark behind AAG.
Launched in 2021, AAG was created as a platform to bring the Atoms community together to share ideas and connect through art. While our focus is crafting the perfect everyday shoes, AAG is our passion project.
When we set out to design the most comfortable and supportive footwear, we turned to the people who create with passion – artists. They spend long hours on their feet, pouring themselves into their work, and they need shoes that move with them, not against them. They notice the smallest details, valuing craftsmanship, longevity, and the quiet thoughtfulness behind a well-made pair. Artists have always been at the heart of Atoms, and AAG is our way of giving back. Creating a space where their creativity and our dedication to comfort come together.
The artists we collaborate with aren’t just creators, they’re storytellers. Their work carries history, emotion, and meaning. Through Atoms Art Gallery, we give them a platform to share their vision and invite our community into their world. AAG isn’t just about shoes; it’s about connection – encouraging creativity, sparking conversations, and bringing people together through the power of art.
