How we built the weather protection

Staying dry shouldn't mean sacrificing comfort or breathability. We've layered in thoughtful protection at every step – all working invisibly beneath the surface:

1. It starts with the yarn
Before we even begin knitting, each individual yarn is treated with a water-repellent coating. This gives every fiber the ability to shed moisture naturally, keeping the shoe light and flexible.

2. A barrier you can't see or feel
We've integrated a water-repellent membrane directly into the upper – sandwiched between the knit exterior and soft lining. Water stays out. Air moves through. Your feet stay comfortable.

3. Every seam, sealed tight
Water has a way of finding the smallest opening. That's why we've sealed every interior seam with a protective layer that stops moisture before it reaches your foot.

4. A shield beneath your step
Between the upper and sole, we've added a sealed strobel layer. It creates a barrier against ground moisture – so even when you step through puddles, you stay dry.

5. One final layer of defense
After assembly, each shoe receives a water-repellent finishing treatment. It's the last step in ensuring water beads up and rolls away, keeping you protected without changing how the shoe feels.
