The Atoms Mask Project
Atoms founders Sidra Qasim and Waqas Ali felt the need to do something for the community as COVID-19 swept the world. They decided to reallocate Atoms’ production capabilities to produce masks that carried the same qualities as their sneakers. They equipped it with an antimicrobial copper thread lining, and designed it to be comfortable, breathable, and durable. Qasim and Ali pledged to donate one mask for each one sold, and to sell the masks at an affordable price. So far Atoms has sold over 300,000 Atoms Everyday Masks and counting, which means that we’re providing a matching donation to various non-profit organizations throughout the country. Check back here regularly to see the Atoms donation list as it’s updated:
New York City Housing Authority
Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp
King County Office of Emergency Management
Yakima Valley Community Foundation
Carrie Mae Weems’ Resist Covid Take 6!

Atoms also partnered with Unsplash to photograph more people going about their in masks in the hope that the images will help people get used to the idea of masks as a part of their daily routine.
