Hey friends,

First of all, we’d like to thank you. Your feedback, excitement, and recommendations are exactly why we’re starting Inside Atoms. This is our way of being more open, transparent, and yes – a little vulnerable with you. We believe great products and companies are built with great ideas. And the best ideas often come from people who care the most. That’s you.

What we shipped

Last month, we launched two new Model 001 colors – Navy & White and Mocha Brown. You asked for them, and 97% of stock sold out at launch. Proof that this two-way conversation matters.

We also brought back the shoe you’ve been waiting for: Model 000 – in Black, White, and Black & White. This time, with a few upgrades: softer lining, more secure fit, and two hidden loops to keep the tongue in place.

We know it took time. If your size isn’t available yet, more pairs are already in production. Logistics are still moving slowly from port to warehouse with the updated tariff situation, but restocks will keep rolling in.

And something you’ve been asking for forever is also in the works. It’s in lab testing right now – update coming soon. 😉

What we messed up 🙏🏽

We launched a collaboration with artist Aadil Abedi. Demand was incredible – we even opened pre-orders. But here’s where things went wrong:

The design was intricate, and knitting the upper at small scale took much longer than expected.
Once ready, the factory couldn’t accommodate such small quantities in their schedule.
On top of that, Asia slowed down in May/June with tariff resets. Everyone was on standby.

By the time we got through, it was August before production began. The good news: pairs are finally ready and shipping next week.

We’re sorry. Through this entire stretch, we couldn’t give customers a clear timeline. Here’s what we learned: no more pre-orders for new, untested processes unless we have the supply chain fully locked in. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who waited patiently—we’ll be sending a separate note to you and making sure you’re taken care of.
